Surrounding Donna are several large and smaller tables spilling over with her collection of more than 4600 various sticks of pastel representing most every brand of professional pastel plus some she has made herself.
At her back is the easel used for pastel paintings. Behind the cameraman a large oil painting sits on it's easel next to the antique oak desk covered in heavy glass used as a palette.
Light shines into Donna's studio from the 8 foot square skylight above, with broad, shaded bow windows on the north wall beyond.
Paintings in progress or recently finished hang around the room.
